The Live Oak boys and girls varsity cross country teams both beat league opponents Del Mar and San Jose in the heat Wednesday. Overall times were slowed a bit by the conditions, however, the boys improved to 4-1 and the girls 5-0.
Top finishers were Kalum Bergstrom (16:15), who finished third,  Eddie King was seventh (16:43) and Milan Le Ruyet (17:23) came in 13th. For the girls, Fayth Lyon (21:32) crossed in fifth, Sabrina Rice (22:51) was 11th, Shannon Hoyle (23:08) 12th and Karly Kyle (23:08) 13th.
