WASHINGTON – School officials were put on notice they can be sued for violating the First Amendment if they discipline students for vulgar and malicious postings on home computers.

Freeze warning again tonight for Morgan Hill

It will be another cold one for Morgan Hill tonight, with temperatures reaching in the low 20s, according to meteorologist Austin Cross of the National Weather Service. A freeze warning was issued for Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning. It is expected to get as low as 27 degrees Fahrenheit early Wednesday morning. The first freeze warning occurred Monday night into Tuesday morning. No strong winds are expected.

Tribal Story-Telling

Tribe members from Amah Mutsun visited the Gilroy Historical Society Saturday, sharing stories about their history. The Chitactac - what some people who hailed from Casa Dos Rios near Gilroy called themselves - are now known as the Amah Mutsun tribe of the Ohlone Indians. Over time, many Amah Mutsun relocated to San Juan Bautista, which is currently home to about 600 Amah Mutsun. "Our story needs to be told," Lopez told the crowd during his presention. Small earthquake hit near Tres Pinos

A shallow magnitude 3.3 earthquake was reported Friday afternoon nine miles from Tres Pinos, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
