Join the Freedom Fest Patriotic Sing
Children in grades kindergarten through 6th are invited to join this year’s Patriotic Sing Chorus. The Patriotic Sing will take place at 6 p.m. July 3, in the Britton Gym. The chorus will rehearse on the following dates: Thursday May 31 and Tuesdays June 12, 19, 26. The dress rehearsal is Monday July 2. All rehearsals will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Britton Middle School Gym. Being a part of the Patriotic Sing – which s dedicated to “Those Who Serve” – gives children an opportunity to learn the songs of the country. The group will create a “Wall of Heroes” honoring past and current members of the Armed Forces. If you would like to recognize a family member or friend who has or is currently serving, please stop by the Britton Gym during rehearsals. Bring the name, branch of Service, area of deployment and picture of anyone you wish to be included on our “Wall of Heroes.”
