Local Radiation Dectection Company will relocate to Texas

The local Radiation Detection Company located at 8095 Camino Arroyo in Gilroy has entered into negotiations to purchase a building site in Austin, Texas, according to Vice President Ron Smith. The company intends to move its entire operation to the “Lone Star” state in 2014 because of what it views as an unattractive business climate in California.

MHCF to dole out $5,500 in grants

The Morgan Hill Community Foundation is scheduled to present its spring 2013 grant awards to local winners Thursday, May 23 at a private reception at Clos La Chance Winery. The celebration also honors MHCF donors who provide funds for the grants and support other ongoing projects.
