The San Martin Neighborhood Alliance gave away $3,800 in grants to local organizations at the nonprofit organization’s March 16 general meeting at the San Martin Lion’s Club.

To address the ongoing yet largely unknown problem of youth malnutrition in Silicon Valley, Second Harvest Food Bank is launching the Stop Childhood Hunger food drive this summer and will continue the effort all year long.
MH Relay For Life raises more than $40k
The 2013 Relay For Life event that took place Saturday at the Morgan Hill Community Park raised $40,913.53 with 13 teams and 118 participants, according to figures posted on the organization’s website as of Monday. All proceeds go directly to the American Cancer Society.
