The Police Officers’ Association (POA) and the Community Service Officers’ Association (CSOA) of the Morgan Hill Police Department, would like to thank the community businesses listed below for their generous support of the department’s annual holiday party raffle.

Once again, more than $800 was raised from merchandise, gifts or monies donated by these businesses. All the monies raised will be given to help support the El Toro Youth Center here in Morgan Hill. The El Toro Youth Center, run by Community Solutions, supports youth and teens through after school academic programs, recreations and sports programs, parent education programs, and computer literacy and technology programs.

At a time when local charities and non-profit services organizations are feeling the pinch from the continued economic downturn, it is very heartening to know that local businesses will step up to fill the void and help those who are in need.

We are proud to be part of the community and to be able to give back to the community we serve.

We hope local residents will patronize these businesses and, like us, thank them for supporting our community: Media Arts Group, Inc./Thomas Kinkade, A French Cleaners, Carmel Car Wash, House of Siam Restaurant, Rosy’s at the Beach Restaurant, Marie Callendar’s, The Seed Company, Way Better Café, Long’s Drugstore, Golden Oak Restaurant, Daniel Pina, California Detail, Casa Blue Salon, Dezign Salon, Clos LaChance Winery, Jamba Juice, Eloisa Gamez/Marra Bros., Hiromi’s Japanese Restaurant, Gold’s Gym, Hi- Five Produce, Guglielmo Winery, Inn at Morgan Hill, Mike and Karen Ayers, Kajiko Nursery, Hometown Gallery, The General Store, Day & Nite Tow, Casa Blue Salon/Marjorie McCone, Donna MacKnight, American Mat & Frame, Peachtree Theaters, Frames from the Heart/Janet Costa, Century Theaters and Massage by Kathy.
