Once again, Chuck Flagg has done a service to the community at large by writing an informative article about Ramadan and its essence.
There are a lot of Muslims in the South County, so it’s important for the rest of the community to know about this holy month as well as the background about fasting. I am fortunate to subscribe to your newspaper since I not only get the local news, but I also get to read some really interesting articles.

I would like to thank you for the very timely and very educating article on the Muslim holy month of the Ramadan by Mr.Chuck Flag. I was very delighted to read this article headlined Ignorance=fear; knowledge=tolerance.
I appreciate the thourough research that Mr. Flaggs did to avoid any misinterpretations. The historical facts in the article are accurate and description of the Muslim beliefs, specially those related to Ramadhan are all accepted by mainstream Muslims.
Thanks again for this wonderful article. I really would like to see more such accurate informational articles, on or about the religion Islam, in future.
