Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Northern California announced that it has raised a record $420,000 for Habitat for Humanity, to help low-income families achieve the American dream of home ownership.Â
The money was raised through a six-week community-wide raffle entitled “The Million Dollar Dream” held throughout the company’s 65 Northern California offices, including one in Morgan Hill. The raffle theme was developed with a goal that by raising $200,000, the company would reach $1 million since launching the raffle six years ago. The $420,000 brings the company’s grand total of monies raised for Habitat for Humanity to $1.2 million.
Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage’s South Valley offices were among the top offices in fundraising throughout Northern California. The Morgan Hill office raised $7,777 for Habitat for Humanity, the Hollister office raised $5,706, and the Gilroy office raised $5,626. The offices received special recognition from Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage for their work on behalf of the charitable organization.
“Our 2005 Habitat for Humanity fundraising campaign has been a phenomenal success and our South Valley offices are a big reason why,” said Chris Trapani, president and chief operating officer of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Silicon Valley.
