Live Oak roller hockey remains undefeated While Live Oak High
was celebrating the big Homecoming game out on the football field,
the Live Oak hockey team headed out to San Jose and geared up for
their fourth win in as many games. In a physical game against
Independence High School, Live Oak pulled out a 9 to 1 victory.

In a physical game against Independence High School, Live Oak pulled out a 9 to 1 victory.
Goalie Michael Anvari had an outstanding game, allowing only one goal to get past him.
On offense, Live Oak‚s speed, fine stick handling and teamwork paid off.
Scoring for Live Oak was Kyle Dutra with four goals, Scott Alexander with two goals and three assists, Conner Williamson with two goals and one assist, Paul Warren with one goal, Brian Costello and Rickey Lasher with one assist, and Matt Edgar with two assists.
Live Oak was also scheduled to play on Friday.
Gavilan’s Homecoming on Saturday
Gavilan College Athletics, the Gavilan College Educational foundation, the Gavilan College Associated Student Body, and the Gavilan College Cheerleaders are all getting ready for the annual Homecoming football game and tailgate party today when the Gavilan Rams take on Hartnell at San Benito High School in Hollister. The Gavilan College Cheerleaders will provide a halftime show. A tailgate party before the game will feature lots of participation from student clubs. The first 750 people through the gate will get free pizza (provided by Round Table), chips, and drinks provide by Pepsi. The first 100 students with ASB cards who show up will get a free movie ticket provided by Platinum Theaters. The tailgate party begins at 6pm with game time at 7pm.
