Gavilan College head golf coach Scott Krause is looking for golfers to join the Rams for their 2004 season. The golf season starts on Jan 15 with the first tournament on the schedule for Feb. 9. hollister heat a league softball team to hold tryouts
Tryouts for the Hollister Heat “A” league girls softball traveling team for ages 12, 14 and 16 will be held on Sunday, Dec. 14 and Jan. 10 at the Heat field at Veterans Memorial Park in Hollister.
Tryout times are as follows: 12 and under, 10 a.m.; 14 and under, noon; and, 16 and under, 2 p.m.

Pride of Morgan Hill, Girls Softball ‘A’ Tryouts
The Pride of Morgan Hill will hold girls softball tryouts for age groups 12A, 14A and 16A on Sunday, Dec. 14 at Community Park in Morgan Hill. Tryouts for 12A and 16A age groups will be held at 1 p.m., and tryouts for the 14A age group will be held at 1 p.m. (for pitchers and catchers) and 2 p.m. (for position players). The Boys and Girls South Valley Junior Warriors Basketball League will begin January 3-March 6. All sessions are on Saturdays. Registration began last month and will continue through Jan. 3. Early bird special is $100 if paid by Dec. 19.

Group 2 Grades 5-6, 10:30-Noon
