Meteros 4, Starlets 5

An exciting game in the Juniors Division this last Monday. Allie Stoner starting the game off with a hit to first base and following up with 2 stolen bases. Excellent pitching by Lacey Hice. The girls held strong in the 2nd inning with Megan Rauschnot batting a double to second base, a steal to third and making our first run. The Meteor’s fielding was strong with several great plays from Brittney Lomanto, Maddi Yestso, Anna Parker, Lexie Evans, Kaeli Johnson, and Savanah Sanchez. The 3rd inning was spectacular with Darrian Kaspar hitting a home run giving us our 2nd run. Many superior catches from Brianne Howell. Claire Parker finishing off our game with the final run in. Starlets started out with a great first inning with a clutch hit by Andrea Simoneau leading them to a 4 run inning. Great pitching by Startlets’ Fernanda Hernandez shutting the Meteors down in the 1st inning.
