Charter School of Morgan Hill

The Charter School of Morgan Hill Foundation has awarded scholarships to graduating high school students who are alumni of the Charter School of Morgan Hill, for use in their pursuit of undergraduate degrees at their chosen institutions. This year, five students who graduated from local high schools received awards of $1,000 each, says a press release from the foundation.

Since instituted five years ago, the CSMH Foundation Scholarship program has awarded a total of $28,000 to our graduating former students.

The CSMH Foundation Scholarships are awarded based on academic achievement in high school, demonstrated leadership, participation in sports, extracurricular activities and volunteerism in the community. The students selected this year attended three different area high schools following their graduation from CSMH in June 2018.

“They are to be commended for their outstanding academic achievements, demonstrated leadership with peers and support of their communities,” says the press release.

This year’s recipients are: Olin Bernhoft, Los Gatos High School; Hana Fujita, Gilroy Early College Academy; Jared Lebovitz, Sobrato High; Sydney Mudrak, Sobrato High; Makayla Phea, Gilroy Early College Academy.
