BOYS GOLF: Acorns clinch second place; set for BVAL team, individual tourneys

SARATOGA — The Live Oak girls soccer team begins its run in the Central Coast Section Division III playoffs Saturday with a quarterfinal match against No. 7-seeded Priory, which trounced Pacific Grove 9-0 in the first round Wednesday.

The No. 2 Acorns (12-4-4), winners of the Mount Hamilton Division, will meet the Panthers (10-5-6) at 2 p.m. at Piedmont Hills High.

Priory finished second in the Foothill Division of the West Bay Athletic League.
