Owners: Shawn and Anita Silva
History: Dr. Shawn Silva is a Morgan Hill native. He graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic West in San Jose, which continues to be the leader among chiropractic colleges. He completed more than 4,820 hours of study and passed the National Board of Chiropractic examinations parts one through four and physical therapy. He is also licensed by the California Board of Chiropractic Examiners and is a member of the American Chiropractic Association as well as the California Chiropractic Association.
Services: Silva offers chiropractic and therapeutic services for the entire family. He specializes in treating neck pain and stiffness, whiplash, sinus, migraine, and muscle tension headaches, low back pain, mid-back and shoulder pain and many other conditions.
Philosophy: Reaching older adults as they represent the fastest growing segment of the population. Silva says with the baby boom generation maturing over the next 50 years, the U.S. Census Bureau expects the number of centenarians to climb to over 4.2 million by the year 2050. He believes it’s important to address the health needs of older adults as they reach their older years.
Hours: 3-8pm, Monday through Friday. This summer the office will expand its hours from 9am-12pm and 3-6pm, Monday through Friday.
