Attend this dynamic workshop offered by the Gilroy Economic Development Corporation in conjunction with the Silicon Valley Workforce Investment Network, Career Advancement Solutions and Gavilan College Small Business Development Center. This free eight-hour training course will help you learn the basics of working in retail. The instructor will review the following: Overview of working in a retail environment, principles of customer service, work attitudes and ethics, business communication, dealing with difficult people, handling money, cashiering & scanning practices.
