It was a barn burner at the Boots and Brews Country Music Festival this past weekend as hundreds of country music fans flocked to the Morgan Hill Outdoor Sports Center on June 24.
The eight-hour event featured musicians such as Dylan Scott, Randy Houser and Jake Owen, who was the headliner for Saturday night.
Apart from the action on stage, the festival included various food trucks and a small market featuring local vendors who sold western apparel including cowboy hats, jewelry and clothes.
The festival also featured an exclusive VIP area that allowed guests to get closer to the stage, along with access to faster food and drink service.
However, some of the guests expressed anger after they stood in line for nearly an hour before they got their hands on something to sip on.
“We paid $150 to stand in line for one hour to get a beer,” shouted one patron who visibly looked upset at having to wait for so long.
Many in the audience danced, crowd surfed and sang along to the live performers throughout the day and evening.
The Boots and Brews event has made an annual summertime stop at the Morgan Hill OSC on Condit Road for several years.
