Ford Motor Company and General Mills awarded Barrett Elementary

Ford Motor Company and General Mills, two companies that have made supporting education a key element of their business, awarded Barrett Elementary School with 10,000 Box Tops for Education® worth $1,000. And, the Ford Store Morgan Hill also donated an additional $1,000 to the school. In total, Barrett Elementary School received $2,000 from Ford.

Tim Paulus, dealer principal of The Ford Store Morgan Hill, presented Barrett Elementary with 10,000 Box Tops for winning the Ford Drives Box Tops Sweepstakes, a two-month sweepstakes that aims to generate $1 million in support for schools throughout the United States.

Barrett Elementary is one of eight schools across the nation that won 10,000 Box Tops, including schools in Orlando, Fla., and Savannah, Ga. One national winner, which will be announced in early February, will win 200,000 Box Tops worth $20,000. Schools can use the money any way they choose.
