The Morgan Hill Aquatics Center on Condit Road has extended its hours to 7pm Monday-Friday through Sept. 1, offering more swim time for children who are now back in school.
Normally recreational swimming hours last until 4:30 on weekdays, but a late summer forecast of temps in the 80s and high 70s prompted extended hours, said Aquatics Center Manager Angela Papp.
“We wanted to allow kids to take advantage of the pool during these last hot days of summer,” Papp said. The outdoor center’s summer season officially ends Sept. 3. For more information visit www.mhaquaticscenter.com.
