Live Oak beat Westmont 4-1 Friday.

Friday’s Mount Hamilton Division match at Leigh was postponed;
no make-up date set
MORGAN HILL — Thanks to Mother Nature, the Live Oak girls soccer team had a full week to sit back, relax and enjoy being in first place.

The Lady Acorns (6-1-3 overall, 4-0 league), ranked No. 12 by the San Jose Mercury News, were set to play on artificial turf at Leigh High today until the Longhorns (6-2, 1-2) postponed the Mount Hamilton Division match because of rain.

No make-up date has been scheduled, Live Oak athletic director Mark Cummins said in statement.

It was the second rainout this week for the Acorns, who moved Tuesday’s home game against Leland to 3:15 p.m. Monday at Leland High. Live Oak’s last game was Jan. 15, a 3-2 win over Evergreen Valley.
