Bernarda C. Garcia was born in Nuevo Leon Monterrey, Mexico, to Jose and Santos Carrillo on March 12, 1938. She went home to be with the Lord on November 11, 2007 in Perris, California. She was a beautiful woman of many talents. Bernarda was an active member of Primera Iglesia Bautista in Lakeview, California. Her church, family and friends were very near and dear to her heart. For the past 12 years she dedicated her life to Christ and to the church ministry. She was preceded in death by her husband of 26 years, Teodoro F. Garcia. She leaves to cherish her memory, 3 sons, Ted Garcia, George Garcia, and Johnny Garcia; 3 daughters, Irene Garcia, Elia Trevino, and Ofelia Castillo; 4 brothers, Lucio Carrillo, Modesto Carrillo, Meno Carrillo, and Ruben Carrillo; 3 sisters, Ernestina Juarez, Sofia Sanchez and Rosa Aguilar; 13 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held Friday, November 16, 2007 from 11:00 A.M.- 12 noon at Habing Family Funeral Home located at 129 4th St., Gilroy, California 95020. Funeral Service will be at 12:00 P.M. Internment will follow at Gavilan Hills Memorial Park.
