Dale - Kiley

Kristen Daneen Dale and Shane William Kiley were married in an
outdoor ceremony on June 13 at the Ahwahnee Hotel in Yosemite
National Park. The wedding was officiated by David Thornton.
Kristen’s sister, Tracy Dale was the bride’s maid of honor and
Richard Seipert, a friend of the couple, was Shane’s best man. The
ceremony was followed by a formal reception at the hotel for the
couple’s family and friends.

Kristen’s sister, Tracy Dale was the bride’s maid of honor and Richard Seipert, a friend of the couple, was Shane’s best man. The ceremony was followed by a formal reception at the hotel for the couple’s family and friends.

Following a family tradition, Kristen is the fourth generation in her family to be married June 13; all were on Friday the 13th. Her mother, grandmother and great-grandmother were all married on that day. The tradition began with Kristen’s great grandparents, James Paul Lawrence and Flora Fern Miller in 1913.

Kristen Daneen Kiley is the daughter of Stephen R. and Janet P. Dale of Morgan Hill. Born in San Jose, she is a graduate of Live Oak High School and San Jose State University. She works as a research associate for Scios Inc.

Shane William Kiley, is the son of Charles K. and Dolores S. Alder of Danville. Born in San Francisco, he will graduate with a bachelor of science degree in chemistry from San Jose State University in May of 2004.

The couple met at school where they both majored in chemistry. They honeymooned at the home of the groom’s family in Lake Tahoe and live with their two golden retrievers in Campbell.
