With the win, the Morgan Hill team will advance to the championship game against Coastside.
Rain poured during the game leaving the field muddy and slick.
Offensive lineman Ed Delgado, Carlos Naranjo, Shawn Circuit, Ryan Roth and Matthew Ruiz took charge of the game.
Julio Aguayo was able to gain tough yards up the middle that set up the first Raider touchdown by Christian McCrimon 30 yard run in the second quarter.
Starting center Ryan Capozza went down, forcing David Carillo to take the reigns, and played well.
Quarterback Zachary Vaiana, who had 30 yards rushing, was able to keep the chains moving with keepers.
Morgan Hill was able to take Pacifica out of the game when McCrimon returned a kickoff for a 65 yard touchdown. Aiding him in the run was key blocks by Jordan Lozada and Julius Travis.
Defensive linemen Aaron Sotelo, Gage Bryant, Blair Zerr and Chris Gomez kept Pacifica uneasy the entire game. Middle linebacker Richie Martinez stopped the up the gut runs while defensive ends Ryan Hennings and Aaron Wallace shut down outside lanes.
Outside linebackers Jordan Lozada and Julio Aguayo and defensive backs Mike De La Maggiore, McCrimon and Travis kept the Pacifica passing game to a minimum.
The Radiers’ final touchdown resulted from a fumble recovery by Vaiana followed by a one yard quarterback sneak.
If the Radiers can win Saturday, they will move on to the Pacific Northwest regionals and could face teams from Alaska, Washington, Nevada or Northern California.
Morgan Hill will play Saturday at 8 a.m. at Fremont High School in Sunnyvale.
