Agnes Fletcher, 86, of Union City died Oct. 1, 2003, at
Washington Hospital in Fremont, due to heart complications and
Alzheimers.
Agnes Fletcher, 86, of Union City died Oct. 1, 2003, at Washington Hospital in Fremont, due to heart complications and Alzheimers.
She was born Dec. 30, 1916. to Bert and Mattie Grinage in Concordia, Kansas. She came to California in the 1940s and settled in King City. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her son, Eugene, of El Reno, Okla.; daughter Nanci of Salinas; grandson Frank Leuck of Eugene, Oregon; sister, Kathryn Sebree of Hebron, Neb.; numerous nieces and nephews; and a dear family friend who Agnes called her second daughter, Edith Tarr.
She was preceeded in death by her husband, Lee, in May 1980, a sister and a brother.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, at First Methodist Church in Morgan Hill. Inurnment will be at a later date.
