Our thanks go out to the many Morgan Hill businesses that are
now recycling. We have been rolling out business recycling for
several years now and are continually pleased with the efforts of
many of our local corporate citizens. Their participation has made
a positive difference to our community and the environment. If
every Morgan Hill business recycled, we would be well beyond our
recycling goals.

We have been rolling out business recycling for several years now and are continually pleased with the efforts of many of our local corporate citizens. Their participation has made a positive difference to our community and the environment. If every Morgan Hill business recycled, we would be well beyond our recycling goals.
We invite businesses that are currently recycling and certainly those that aren’t to expand their participation by using our other great conservation programs.
As always, the Morgan Hill Recycling Rewards Program is free. Not only is the weekly service free, but we also supply the containers needed to make it work.
Let us know if you would like to know more about any of the following programs:
• Cardboard recycling
• Beverage container recycling
• Mixed paper recycling
• Deskside recycling boxes
• Recycling information signs
• Bilingual janitor instructions
• Green business program
Not only do businesses that recycle save money on reduced garbage costs, everyone who works in a recycling business automatically gets more attractive and lives longer. You can contact me by calling 779-7247 or en*****@************ca.gov .
Eco-Fact of the Week: You, yes you, can make a difference. If your workplace could recycle more, invite us in to make some recommendations. There is no obligation and we provide all the containers and resources you need to recycle appropriately.
Eco-Web Site of the Week: There are currently three official Green Businesses in Morgan Hill and more in the pipeline. Green Businesses are those businesses that have voluntarily met the standards of the Bay Area Green Business Program. To learn more, go to www.abag.ca.gov/bayarea/enviro/gbus/index.html .
