Jovita Buenrostro died Dec. 2, 2003, in Gilroy following a brief illness.
She was born in Mexico 92 years ago. Mrs. Buenrostro lived in Gilroy for more than 45 years.
She was the wife of the late Luis Buenrostro.
She is survived by her daughter Luz Del Toro of Gilroy; grandchildren Uriel Del Toro, Gina Del Toro, Jovita Del Toro, Rosa Del Toro, Rosendo Del Toro and Luiz Del Toro, all of Gilroy; and 14 great-grandmother.
Vigil Services will be held on Friday at 5:30 p.m. at Habing Family Funeral Home, Gilroy. Funeral services will begin on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home and then proceed to St. Mary’s church for a funeral mass at 10 a.m. Burial will follo
