track when it hosts Alvarez tonight in its home opener.
Morgan Hill – After suffering a last-minute loss to Saratoga in last week’s opener, the Live Oak High football team will look to get back on track when it hosts Alvarez tonight in its home opener.
The Acorns’ Kevin Abbott rushed for 164 yards last week, but the Falcons stormed back with 22 points in the fourth quarter to steal away the victory.
The Eagles come to town having lost their first two games to North Monterey County and Watsonville by a combined total of 60-6.
J.C. Torres has paced the offense with 40 rushing yards on nine carries. He also has a 16-yard touchdown reception. Quarterback Adrian Estrada has completed 10-of-24 passing for 67 yards and one touchdown.
Steve Best has two sacks on the season to anchor the defense for Alvarez.
