Petty theft: A guest at the Quality Inn on Condit Road reported a $150 phone charger was stolen from the hotel room. The report was taken at 12:22am.

Identity theft: A resident of Bayo Claros Circle reported someone he knows is using his address, phone number and e-mail address. The report was taken at 2:24pm.

Grand theft: Mervyn’s in Cochrane Plaza shopping center reported female suspects stole 15-20 pairs of jeans. The report was taken at 4:27pm.

Aug. 23

Petty theft: A resident of Calle Del Sol reported a BMX bike was stolen from the residence. The report was taken at 4:52pm.

Aug. 24

Stolen vehicle: A Dodge Caravan was stolen overnight from a residence on Danny Boy Court. The report was taken at 9:07am.

Aug. 25

Petty theft: The AM/PM Mini Mart on Monterey Road reported two male suspects stole approximately $10 of beer at 1:30am. The report was taken at 6:47am.

Domestic violence: A resident of Eagle View Drive reported her boyfriend punched her in the head, knocking her into the bathtub, on Aug. 14 but she was afraid to report the incident earlier. She told police he is now living somewhere else, possibly in Watsonville. The report was taken at 9:37am.

Petty theft: A mixer was stolen from the Friday Night Music series downtown. The report was taken at 9:36pm.

Aug. 26

Petty theft: A $250 bike was stolen from a residence on Bender Circle sometime after ;8:30pm on Aug. 23 and before ;6:30pm on Aug. 24. The report was taken at 12:22pm.

Petty theft: “A Dinner Affair” in the Morgan Hill Plaza shopping center reported three empty garbage cans were stolen from behind the restaurant where they were placed to dry. The report was taken at 6:17pm.

Aug. 27

Auto burglary: A resident of La Alameda reported tools were stolen from an unlocked Dodge truck, and a stereo system was stolen from a Honda Civic. The thefts occurred approximately two months ago. The report was taken at 12:44pm.

Vandalism: A resident of West Main Avenue reported the windows of their Ford Focus were shattered by the brother of the owner of the residence. The report was taken at 8:51pm.

Aug. 28

Burglary: A residence on Del Monte Avenue was broken into over the weekend. A mirror, light fixtures and towel bars were stolen from an upstairs bathroom. The report was taken at 7:14am.

Vandalism: Nordstrom Elementary on East Dunne Avenue reported someone carved graffiti into the office window of the school over the weekend. The report was taken at 8:53am.

Battery: An employee of a business on Vineyard Boulevard reported he and a co-worker argued and the co-worker kicked him in the back with steel-toe boots. The report was taken at 1:28pm.

Trespassing: A resident of De Anza Court reported her ex-boyfriend broke into her house. The report was taken at 2:11pm.

Vandalism: A resident of Wright Avenue reported their Subaru was vandalized; the rims were stolen and paint thinner was applied to the paint. The report was taken at 2:52pm.

Petty theft: A resident of Terracina Apartments reported he believes his roommate stole his wallet containing $580 in cash. The report was taken at 8:34pm.

Aug. 29

Fraud: A resident of Rustling Oak Court reported someone is using their credit card number to make $1,100 in unauthorized charges. The report was taken at 12:47pm.

Arrests:

Aaron T. Barton, 20, was booked into Santa Clara County Jail on charges of alleged possession of a controlled substance. The report was taken on Aug. 22 at 12:12pm.

Jose A. Martinez, 30, was booked into Santa Clara County Jail for allegedly making terrorist threats. The report was taken at 12:57pm on Aug. 24.

A 26-year-old female was booked into Santa Clara County Jail on charges of alleged domestic battery. The report was taken on Aug. 24 at 5:50pm.

Nicole J. Butcher, 24, was cited and released for alleged forgery. The report was taken at 1:03am on Aug. 25.
