Sobrato’s girls basketball team opened the season with a 42-33 loss at Andrew Hill on Tuesday despite nine points from Toma Clare.
Symone Wright scored seven points and Chelsea Stencil added six points for the Bulldogs.
“I feel like we’re definitely progressing,” Sobrato first-year coach Erica Wallace said. “They’re learning my style, and I’m learning them. I think we’re getting there.”
