Police are looking for two suspects who robbed the Ramada Inn at gunpoint and fled in a red vehicle believed to be a Honda, authorities said.

About 3:20 a.m. Monday, a man and woman entered the hotel at 16115 Condit Road. The man brandished a handgun at the employee on duty and demanded money from the cash register, Morgan Hill police Sgt. Troy Hoefling said.

The suspects were wearing “heavy” or layered clothing, and each was wearing gloves and a hoodie when they committed the robbery, Hoefling said.

The hotel employee complied with the robbers’ demand, and the suspects entered a red vehicle, police said. The vehicle fled in a northbound direction on Condit Road.

Police did not disclose how much cash the suspects took from the hotel.

Few details about the suspects’ description were available at press time, but more will be provided by Tuesday afternoon.
