Thank you for printing the letter on illegally loud cars in Saturday’s paper.
I, too, am tired of the audacious assault to our persons by those abusive people who will do anything to gain some sense of notoriety.
We are constantly assaulted in our homes and at work as well as on the road by illegally loud machines.
Mobile speaker systems or illegally unmuffled motorcycles with owners that are screaming, “Look at Me!”
These people are particularly annoying because they take over our private space and we have no way to look away or ignore them.
I understand why insecure people use machines to get our attention, what I don’t understand is why the laws that are in place to protect us from this assault are unenforced?
