Victor Herrera passed away on June 1, 2012, at the age of 95 after a long illness. Victor leaves behind his wife of 60 years, Celia Coliz Herrera.
He is survived by his children Maria Salamanca and Tina De La Cruz from Texas, Hector C. Herrera from Idaho, Elva Hill from Gilroy, Zeke C. Herrera from Gilroy, Eva Lopez from Gilroy, Victor M. Herrera from Hollister and Leticia Herrera from Gilroy.
He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and over 30 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will begin 10:00 A.M. Thursday, June 7th, 2012, at 10:00 A.M followed by a sharing service at 11:00 A.M. at Habing Family Funeral Home. Mass will follow at 12:00 noon at Saint Mary Catholic Church, Gilroy. Interment at Saint Mary Cemetery.
