Morgan Hill PONY Baseball
Morgan Hill Pony Baseball will be holding LATE REGISTRATIONS on the following Wednesday evenings; January 18, January 25 and February 8. Late Registration will be from 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM, at Mountain Mikes Pizza.
For new members to the league, please bring a copy of the child’s birth certificate and proof of address. Players from past seasons can mail in their 2006 Registration forms to MHPB, PO Box 353, Morgan Hill, CA 95038. Late registration penalties must be included with registrations received after January 14.
Player Evaluation Day is scheduled for Saturday, January 21, at Britton School. Player Evaluation is only for the Mustang (9-10), Bronco (11-12) and Pony (13-14) Divisions. Players should come dressed for baseball and bring glove and bat. The Schedule is as follows: First year players with last names beginning with A through L should report at 9:00 AM. First year players M-Z should report at 10:30 AM. Second year players with last names beginning A-L should report at 1:00 PM. Second year players M-Z should report at 2:30 PM. Evaluations should conclude by 4:00 PM. Rain Date is January 28.
Soccer Tryouts
Orchard Valley Youth Soccer League will be holding its annual tryouts for U9-U14 Division I (select) and Division III (competition) teams on February 4-5, alternating between Rod Kelley School in Gilroy and P.A. Walsh School in Morgan Hill. Tryouts will also be held on February 11-12. Tryouts for U15-U19 will be held on March 4-5. All players born between 8/1/1997 and 7/31/1988 are invited to attend. Mt. Madonna YMCA
Mt. Madonna YMCA in Morgan Hill is now accepting registrations for ages 2-12 for their 2006 basketball season. The season runs from Jan.21st through March 18th and is played at local schools from 9am-3pm.The registration fees are $45-100, depending on age group.
