Hoops: Mortensen, Hawks ride fast start to win

Sophomore center Justin Mortensen had 21 points, 11 rebounds and six blocked shots to lead Oakwood’s boys basketball team to an 80-32 win over KIPP Collegiate on Monday.

Sophomore guard Nate Schilling hit five 3-pointers on his way to 20 points and six assists for the Hawks (10-2), who jumped to a 32-2 lead. Jonathan Angulo added 14 points, nine rebounds and four steals for Oakwood.
