Petty theft
An employee of Box Seat Sports Grill, 15650 Vineyard Blvd., reported her makeup bag was stolen from the restaurant’s bathroom. The crime was reported 12:53 p.m. Feb. 9.
A female suspect in her 20s was using scissors to cut tags off items at Wal-Mart, 170 Cochrane Plaza, and hid the items in her purse before exiting the store. The suspect was contacted by store employees, and was cooperative. The incident was reported 8:06 p.m. Feb. 9.
Stolen vehicle
A thief or thieves stole a red and black 1999 Volkswagen Golf from Safeway grocery store, 235 Tennant Station. The crime was reported 1:27 p.m. Feb. 9.
Someone stole a gray 1997 Nissan from a location in Morgan Hill. The theft was reported 7:25 a.m. Feb. 11.
A brown 1986 Nissan truck was stolen from Church Street. The theft was reported 4:17 p.m. Feb. 11.
A thief or thieves stole a navy blue Chrysler Sebring from the area of West Second Street and Monterey Road. The theft was reported 12:51 a.m. Feb. 12.
Accident
A motorist had a seizure while driving before crashing his vehicle over a boulder and into a retaining wall near the intersection of East Dunne Avenue and Jackson Oaks Drive. No major injuries were reported to the driver or passenger. The accident was reported 10:16 a.m. Feb. 9.
Lost property
Someone lost a brown leather Gucci wallet, containing a Canadian passport and credit cards, while shopping at Trader Joe’s grocery store on Laurel Road. The lost property was reported 6:07 p.m. Feb. 10.
Auto burglary
A thief or thieves broke into a blue BMW and stole a radiator from the trunk. The crime was reported 7:59 p.m. Feb. 10 in the parking lot of Safeway, 235 Tennant Station.
Someone broke into a black BMW at Target, 1061 Cochrane Road, and stole a laptop computer, iPad, MacBook Pro and a camera. The crime was reported 8 p.m. Feb. 11.
Oversized vehicle parking
At least six RVs were parked on Vineyard Boulevard, across from Tennant Station Way. The witness who reported the municipal code violation said the RVs limits customer parking for the shopping center. The illegal parking was reported 4:26 p.m. Feb. 11.
