August Gus James Shuster passed away Sunday morning November 20, 2016. He died peacefully surrounded by his family. August was born on a farm near Windber Pennsylvania to mother Mary Theresa Chuzda-Shuster and father August John Shuster. Moved to California in 1963 and settled in Morgan Hill in 1974. August worked in the electronics industry beginning in the late 50’s while in the Air Force and finished 41 years of employment at IBM in San Jose. Decorated Airman and highly educated; August worked on many early technological projects that we take for granted today. He is survived by; his wonderful wife and partner of 60 years, Frances Ann Shuster, brother John Dood Shuster, son Jim and daughter in-law Marisa Shuster, son Greg Shuster and daughters Shereen Shuster and Jynee Shuster. He also leaves behind four grandchildren: Anthony (RIP), Jenelle, Erica and Ashley. His brother William Shuster preceded August in death. August leaves behind his family, countless loving in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews and close friends. A man of so many talents touched so many people making sure everyone was well taken care of before himself. We will miss you pop, papa, Gus, Jim, dad, Grandpa and many special names.
