The family will have a private grave side service in Gilroy where Marian will be laid to rest next to her husband Harold. In lieu of flowers, the family would like memorial donations  made in her name to the Centennial Senior Center in Morgan Hill, CA.
Marian Ann Mosegard Steidley passed away, at the age of 95, on September 3rd 2013. Marian was born in Morgan Hill, California on March 9, 1918.
On January 13, 1935, at the age of seventeen, Marian married her beloved Harold Steidley who preceded her in death on December 29, 1997. Marian is survived by her daughter Carol Lee Steidley Hardin and her son Kenneth Lee Steidley. Carol lives in Waldron, AR with her husband Bill, where Marian was visiting when she became ill and passed away. Kenneth lives in Houston, TX with his wife Bonnie.
Marian loved spending hours on end working in her rose garden. She had a cheerful demeanor and loved to socialize with friends and family.
She routinely attended the Centennial Senior Center everyday for lunch, being driven by her grandson Steven Steidley, who cared for his grandmother for over three years before returning to Texas; a special thanks to Steven who took excellent care of his grandmother.
Marian’s other love was bowling in the Gilroy league, which she did avidly up until the age of 92. Marian’s friends were always amazed by her ability to compete and win numerous trophies.
Marian leaves a long familial legacy with: nine grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren; who will all miss her.
