Sara Elizabeth McCartney February 2, 1925 – August 24, 2013

A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 2, 2013, at 1:00 P.M., at Mt. Hope Memorial Park in Morgan Hill, CA Deceased’s funeral arrangements : Johnson Funeral Home
 Born February 2, 1925 in Bechtelsville, PA. Passed away August 24, 2013, in Willits, CA, where she was living with her daughter for the past two years.
A resident of Morgan Hill from 1946 to 2012, employed by the Skeels family since 1955, until purchasing the Orange Freeze in 1960. She owned and operated the Morgan Hill landmark for more than 20 years until the closing in 1980.
 Sara is survived by two daughters, Joyce Brooks of El Dorado, CA and Ann Alumbaugh of Willits, CA, and a son, Ken McCartney of Livermore, CA; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
