Marie Lillian Fehlman, 92, passed away at Windsor The Ridge Rehabilitation Facility.

She was born May 7, 1920 in Salinas, CA.

Marie was a true artist. She and her husband, Jess, were experts in the field of leather work. Together they built many western saddles, as well as western purses, wallets, belts and western tack. Their saddles and belts were well known throughout San Benito and Monterey County.

Gram, as she was called by her family, was the best mother, mother-in-law and grandmother she could be. She would never turn down a request to babysit her grandkids–never!!!!

The Fehlman family would like to thank The Ridge for the superb care of Marie since 2009.

Marie was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Teresa Guidotti; sisters, Geraldine King, Rose and Louise Guidotti; son, Richard Fehlman; and grandson, Kenny Fehlman.

She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Jess; son, Gordon (Susan) Fehlman; daughter, Francine (Randy) Ricca; daughter-in-law, Kathy Fehlman of Gilroy; grandchildren, Craig (Shelly) Fehlman of Healdsburg, Matthew Fehlman of Monterey, Theresa Fehlman of Roseville, Bonnie (Claude) Loftus of Paso Robles, Rose (Max) Blomberg of Ventura, and Mia (Westen) Enstrom of Nucla, CO; and great-grandchildren; Caden Fehlman, Hazel and Elsie Loftus.
