The Brooke Bailey Breast Cancer Awareness Walk is scheduled for 8 a.m. April 13 at the athletic track of Ann Sobrato High School, located at 401 Burnett Ave. in Morgan Hill.
The Bailey Walk, organized by the Ann Sobrato National Honor Society Chapter, is “a day to walk in love and support of our beloved colleague, teacher, and friend, Mrs. Brooke Bailey, in her fight against cancer.”
A Facebook page was set up in Bailey’s honor November of 2011. The page can be accessed here. Bailey is an English teacher at Sobrato.
Checks, which will be donated in Bailey’s name, should be made out to Susan G. Komen for the Cure and mailed to Ann Sobrato High School at 401 Burnett Ave. in Morgan Hill.
Participants in the walk, who are being asked to collect donations before the event, can form a team of their own or join an existing team.
