Coyote Creek bird walk
A series of bird walks led by Jane Haley, a National Park Service docent for 20 years and Wildlife Education and Rehabilitation Center volunteer, continues from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday along Coyote Creek, north of Morgan Hill.
Participants will have an opportunity to observe migratory birds as well as discover an appreciation of local birds, their habitat and ecological importance. Due to the terrain, these walks are not recommended for young children. The programs are free, space is limited and reservations are required.

Dine on crab and help Emerald Regime
Live Oak Emerald Regime’s annual “Crab Feed” is Jan. 15 at the Morgan Hill Buddhist Building, 16150 Murphy Avenue. Tickets are $45. Doors open at 6 p.m., dinner is served at 7 p.m.

Visit with and learn about animals
Tutor Time (formerly A Children’s Garden) Child Care and Learning Center will put on its annual Children’s Faire from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday Jan. 15, at the center, 610 E. Dunne Ave.
Bring the entire family and enjoy an elaborate farm and animal petting zoo from Pony Up!, delight in a pony rides, visit with exotic animals from Wild Things and rehabilitated animals from the Wildlife Education and Rehabilitation Center and participate in educational activities. Tour the learning center and meet the teachers.
The free event is for all families with children as old as 13. Parents are required to supervise their children during the event.

Help those with diabetes
Enjoy a festive wine tasting event complete with gourmet appetizers and dessert bites at the Diabetes Society’s “Camp For Kids With Diabetes,” from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Sunday Jan. 30 at the Morgan Hill Community and Cultural Center, 17000 Monterey Road. There will be a raffle for gourmet food and wine baskets, and a live auction. Proceeds will provide scholarships so all children with diabetes can attend Diabetes Society’s camps.
