Auto Burglary:
• A Morgan Hill resident reported her son’s Toyota Corolla was
broken into while parked in the 24 Hour Fitness club parking lot at
Tennant Station. The Toyota was locked, and nothing was apparently
stolen. The report was taken on Jan. 16 at 5:13pm.

• A resident of the 500 block of Calle Viento reported his two vehicles were broken into overnight. The resident told police he heard a car pulling away from the residence at 2:59am. His Ford truck was broken into through a window and a briefcase was stolen. His Chevy Suburban was broken into through the rear window, and a set of license plates was stolen. The report was taken at 5:39am on Jan. 17.
• A resident of the 17300 block of Serene Drive reported the resident’s Chevy Astro van was broken into overnight through a broken window, but it was unknown at the time of the report if anything was stolen from the vehicle. The report was taken on Jan. 17 at 8:27am.
• A resident of the 15100 block of Yosemite Way reported the resident’s Chevy was broken into overnight. A window of the locked vehicle was shattered, and the stereo and equipment was stolen. The report was taken at 9:11am on Jan. 17.
• A resident of the 16700 block of Cory Drive reported the resident’s Honda Accord was broken into. A window was shattered, and a backpack, CD’s and glasses were stolen from the Accord. The report was taken on Jan. 17 at 5:04pm.
• A Ford Explorer parked “close to the football field” at Live Oak High School on East Main Avenue was broken into. The window was shattered, and the stereo was stolen. The report was taken at 2:14pm on Jan. 18.
Petty Theft:
• Morgan Hill Animal Hospital on Monterey Road reported someone stole a sprinkler timer from the front of the building overnight. The report was taken on Jan. 17 at 8:47am.
Burglary:
• National Display Systems on San Pedro Avenue reported someone broke into the business over the weekend. The back door was reportedly pried open, the rollup door was damaged and the company’s product was “thrown all over the place.” The report was taken on Jan. 17 at 10:06am.
Grand Theft:
• A construction company reported a jacuzzi was stolen from a construction site on Berkshire Drive over the weekend. The jacuzzi reportedly is valued at $1,000. The report was taken on Jan. 17 at 11:38pm.
• A Morgan Hill resident reported he took his bike into the Goodwill of Santa Clara County store, and someone inside the store stole the bike. The resident told workers he didn’t want to contact the police because he has outstanding warrants. The report was taken at 7:38pm on Jan. 18.
