• Battery: An employee of Cloverleaf Construction on Caputo
Drive reported a male employee wanted to pick up his check from
her, but she couldn’t give it to him because he didn’t have an
ID.

• Battery: An employee of Cloverleaf Construction on Caputo Drive reported a male employee wanted to pick up his check from her, but she couldn’t give it to him because he didn’t have an ID. The male then allegedly picked up a flower pot full of sand and threw it at the female employee, hitting her in the back. She gave police a description of the suspect and the vehicle he left in. The report was taken at 11:05am.
• Threats: A resident of the Cochrane Village Apartments reported she has been receiving threatening phone calls from an unknown suspect who keeps asking for “Peewee” and threatening to beat him up. She told police there is no one at the address by that name, and every time she tries to tell the caller that, he hangs up. The calls have been happening for approximately six months. The report was taken at 4:44pm.
• Auto burglary: An employee of the Sizzler restaurant on Monterey Road reported her Acura was broken into while she was working. Her purse and her stereo were stolen. The report was taken at 9:37pm.
September 14
• Auto burglary: A Morgan Hill resident reported someone broke into her unlocked car while it was parked at the LDS Church on East Dunne Avenue. The purse contained business checks, credit cards, ID, $500 in cash and the keys to a company vehicle and to a second home. The report was taken at 11:08am.
• Fraud: The treasurer for the Live Oak High sports boosters club reported she received a check written to the club that was actually a stolen check. The report was taken at 12:49pm.
• Rape: A Morgan Hill resident reported the statutory rape of a female. He said it was occurring from January until the present. He told police he tried to report this before but was told he didn’t have enough proof. Now, however, the girl is pregnant, and he wants to press charges. The report was taken at 1:09pm.
• Disturbance: Sobrato School reported two students fighting in the lobby of the administrative office. The report was taken at 1:16pm.
• Vandalism: A resident of Calle Caballeria reported someone tried to break into her vehicle on Sept. 12. The window was jammed and the vehicle was damaged. The report was taken at 3:03pm.
