• Molly Maids on Vineyard Boulevard reported 11 tires of company vehicles have been vandalized over the past week. The marked company vehicles have not only been targeted at the company location but also other locations in the city. The report was taken at8:59am on Jan. 11.

• Two tires on a company vehicle parked at the McDonald’s on Cochrane Road were punctured the day before. The report was taken on Jan. 11 at 2:35pm.

• A Morgan Hill resident reported a window of the resident’s Honda Accord was shattered while the Honda was parked at Erik’s Deli-Cafe in the Vineyard Town Center. The report was taken at 9:52pm on Jan. 11. LaundryLand in Tennant Station reported a change machine in the business was destroyed, possibly by someone trying to break into the machine. It looked like someone used a torch or some type of cutting device to try to break into it. The report was taken on Jan. 12 at 12:13pm.

Auto burglary:

• A resident of the Crest Avenue Apartments reported the resident’s truck was stolen a few weeks ago, then recovered. Now someone broke into the truck, leaving the seats reclined back and the wing windows open. Profanity was written on the door of the truck. The report was taken on Jan. 11 at 12:12am.

• A Morgan Hill resident reported the resident’s truck was broken into while parked behind the Target store in Cochrane Plaza on Jarvis Drive a few days earlier. An unsuccessful attempt was made to steal the stereo. The report was taken at 4:23pm on Jan. 11.

Embezzlement:

• Home Depot on East Dunne Avenue reported an employee was detained for giving away merchandise totaling $260. The report was taken on Nov. 5 at 4:46pm.

Threats:

• A Morgan Hill resident reported her daughter has been threatened repeatedly by another student at Sobrato High School. The report was taken on Jan. 3 at 8:48am.

Battery:

• A resident of Depot Street reported her mother beat her up and bit her. The resident said her mother is a crack user. The report was taken on Jan. 10 at 8:33pm.

Grand theft:

• A Morgan Hill resident reported she had her car washed at the Morgan Hill Car Wash and Gift Shop before Christmas, and now she has discovered that $4,000 in cash that was in a hidden compartment was stolen. She told police she wanted them to fingerprint the vehicle, saying she is sure no one else would have had access to the hidden compartment or been able to find it. The report was taken on Jan. 10 at 2:06pm.
