Three matches in two days didn’t faze the first-year Morgan Hill Lacrosse girls team, which won two of the three last weekend.

On Saturday, MH edged host Monterey 13-11 behind six goals from Heather Molyneaux and nine saves from the goalie trio.

Then, on Sunday, MH split a pair of matches at a mini round-robin competition in San Jose.

MH lost the opener 7-6 to the San Jose Extreme despite a pair of goals from both Kristine Sherwood and Sarah Pocus. In the second match, MH rolled to a 13-2 victory over the Burlingame Coyotes behind hat tricks from Shae Collinge and Molyneaux.

MH improved to 6-2-2 overall and plays its final matches of the season in a round-robin competition at Burlingame on Saturday.
