unlocked residence the day before and stole a laptop valued at
$5,000. The report was taken on Aug. 15 at 11:05am.

• Someone broke into the auditorium at Britton Middle School on West Central Avenue, got into the safe and took all the start-up money for the weekly bingo games. The report was taken at 11:29am on Aug. 15.
Petty theft
• A resident of the 18300 block of Tolusa Court reported mail wasstolen from the resident’s mailbox a few days earlier at approximately 1:30am. The report was taken on Aug. 14 at 11am.
• A contractor of a house in the 19200 block of Saffron Drive reported9.5 gallon plants stolen from the front of the house over the weekend.The report was taken at 11:05am on Aug. 16.
• A resident of Calle Cabezal reported a bike was stolen from theresident’s open garage. The report was taken on Aug. 18 at 4:13pm.
• A resident of Pratola Court reported her bike was stolen from theside of the house. The report was taken at 8:56pm on Aug. 19.
• A Morgan Hill resident reported an iPod stolen from a backpack at Live Oak High School. The report was taken on Aug. 20 at 11:03am.
Identity Theft
• A Morgan Hill resident reported someone is using her identification for utility bills. Her identification is also being used in North Carolina and Detroit, she told police. The report was taken on Aug. 14 at 11:06am.
• A resident of the 15200 block of Venetian Way reported she was never given her ATM card back from Papa Murphy’s Pizza, and the card was used four times. The report was taken at 9:12pm on Aug. 18.
