Braves 12, Diamondbacks 4

Diamondbacks:

HItting: Jerry Jacob hit a double and stole home.

Defense: Curtis Theard and Sean Silveira both caught pop fly’s

Braves:

HItting: Bradley Morrs got an RBI Ryan Mitchell got an RBI and hit a home run.

Reds 24, Diamondbacks 0

Diamond Backs:

Ryan chappell and Joey Davey both got base hits

Pitching: Sean Silveria, Jerry Jacob, Robert Baker, Joey Davey, and Mitchell Pasec all pitched a good game.

Reds:

Hitting: Danny Saparito and Jordan Lozado both hit home runs, and Tommy Naranjo hit a double and stole home.

Giants 10, Mets 6

Another exciting game for the Giants when they played the Mets. The Giants leadoff man, Trevor Fuhriman hit a double the first inning and was able to score giving the home team Giants a 1-0 lead in the first inning. In the top of the 3rd, Mets player Mitch Crowley smashed a brilliant hit out to the outfield for a double to score a run. During the 4th inning, Crowley made an amazing play while pitching by picking a Giants player off of 1st base. Mets player Steven Villareal hit a real smasher and Giants player Jayson Smith made an amazing catch while covering 2nd base. Trevor Fuhriman continued his hitting streak again by setting one off like a rocket. The Giants game ball when to Tyler Nielsen for getting his first hit.

Junior division

Asteroids 9, Comets 1

Gail Wiselogel shut down the Comets in the first two innings with some terrific pitching. The Asteroids scored in the first inning on a solo home run by Katie Machado. The second inning saw the Asteroids score four more runs on a home run by Heather Merritt, singles by Kirsten Doting and Erin Brenneman, a walk by Amanda Morgan and doubles by both Melissa Sigona and Katie Machado. The third inning saw the Comets score a run to bring the game to 5-1. The Asteroids put it out of reach in the third inning with singles by Gail Wiselogel, Courtney Clampett, and Kirsten Doting, walks by Taylor Pencer and Amanda Morgan and a double by Annika Camacho. The Asteroids played strong defense with great plays by Annika Camacho, Kirsten Doting and Taylor Pencer.
