Go Kids’ is holding its first annual fundraising event presenting “An Evening of Jazz” outdoors in Guglielmo Winery’s Villa Emile Event Center on Saturday, May 15, 4-9:30 p.m. The cost is $125 per person.
The evening will feature the Brubeck Institute Jazz Sextet, fellowship students from the University of the Pacific. This talented group has played in many different venues over the past year including the Library of Congress which honored Dave Brubeck himself as a “Living Legend.”
Also on stage will be the award-winning Buchser Middle School Jazz Band and the Britton Middle School Jazz Band. Catering will be provided by Mama Mia’s Restaurant.
The proceeds from “An Evening of Jazz” will benefit GoKids LIFT Fund. LIFT is an innovative program developed by Go Kids teaching independence for tomorrow by not only providing scholarships for child care but also providing family strengthening classes for their parents.
The winery is located at 1480 East Main St., Morgan Hill.
