he is still in denial of the cause of his present straits.

For Bruce Tichinin in a letter to the editor published in the July 16 editon to blame my “shot” at him on “intense hatred for 16 years” only proves that he is still in denial of the cause of his present straits.
My opinion page column was in no way inspired by a long-simmering hatred invented for public consumption; rather, it was my response to the ugly product of a self-absorbed heart and shattered moral compass that he has forced this city to accept. His reputation may be in tatters, but it is obvious his arrogance remains intact.
I didn’t harm you, Bruce; you did that all by yourself. Deal with it.
