She was born to Arnold and Grace Sims Tueller on May 13, 1913 in Montpelier, Idaho. She grew up in Montepelier and was valedictorian of her high school class. She was 91.

She married Ronald Miller on December 24, 1931 in Paris, Idaho. They moved to Boise shortly after her second daughter was born. They raised six daughters in Boise where she often worked as a professional baker. In 1980, after her husband retired from being a mail carrier, they went to Prince Edward Island to serve on an 18-month mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The LDS church was very important in her life.

She moved to California shortly after the mission and settled near three of her daughters. She lived in Gilroy until her husband, Ronald, died. Then she moved to Morgan Hill where she lived with her daughter Judith Newman for several years. When Judith died unexpectedly, Mary Ball, another of her daughters, moved from Boise to Morgan Hill to be with her. She just recently moved to Corvallis to be with Monine Stebbins and Geraldine Gibson, two other daughters. She enjoyed her church activities, doing embroidery, reading and baking. She was very musical, singing in various choirs. When she was young, she played the piano, French horn and violin.

She is survived by her daughters Mary Jean Ball of Boise, Georgina O’Sullivan of Santa Clara, Monine Stebbins and Geraldine Gibson, both of Corvallis, Ore., and Sandra Lee Jones of Gilroy; a brother of Charles Tueller, Wisconsin; and sisters Dona Wilson of Texas and Beverly Argyle of Utah; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grand children; and four great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Miller; daughter Judith Ann Newman; and two grandchildren.

The funeral was this morning, July 2, at the LDS Church in Morgan Hill, 1790 E. Dunne Ave. Burial will be in Gilroy. A memorial service will be held in Corvallis, Oregon, at the Congregational UCC on West Hills Road at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 10.

Arrangements were under the direction of Habing Family Funeral Home, Gilroy.
