Next Thursday, Sept. 2, Jim Hartman, vice chairman of the California Republican Party (CRP), will be discussing the ballot propositions we will be voting on in a few weeks. He will be speaking at our local CRA chapter’s monthly meeting.
Voters often decline to vote, or “vote blind” because they haven’t informed themselves. These monthly meetings are a great place to meet the candidates one-on-one and to discuss the issues with those who are informed.
We rent the facilities of the Church of the Valley (COTV), 13380 Depot in San Martin (just a block off of Monterey Road). We gather at 7pm for coffee and a chat. The meeting begins at 7:30pm and ends around 9pm.
Our goal is to raise the political savvy of those who attend. In turn, it is hoped, each of them will raise the awareness of their respective spheres of influence. Everyone is welcome.
